Thank you for shopping with Muthu Fashion Studio. We strive to provide a seamless shopping experience. Please read our policy regarding returns, exchanges, and refunds below.
⏱️ 7-Day Return & Exchange Window
We offer a strict 7-day return and exchange window. You have exactly 7 calendar days from the date your package was delivered by our courier partner to request a return or exchange through our automated portal.
🚫 Non-Returnable Items
For hygiene and health safety reasons, returns or exchanges are strictly not supported on the following products:
- Lingerie and innerwear
- Unstitched materials
- Lungis and related garments
📦 Product Condition Requirements
To be eligible for a return or exchange, items must be in their original condition:
- Apparel and accessories must be unworn, unwashed, and have all original tags attached.
- Items must be free from stains, makeup marks, or distinct odors (perfumes, smoke, or detergents).
- Items must be handed over to the courier executive securely packed inside the courier cover.
🛠️ How to Raise a Return Request
All returns must be handled systematically through our self-service system. Please do not mail items back to our administrative office.
- Scroll to our website footer and click on "Request a Return/Exchange".
- Enter your Order ID and the Email Address/Phone Number used during checkout to log in.
- Select the item(s) you wish to return or exchange and follow the on-screen prompts.
⚠️ Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items
Please inspect your package upon receipt. If the item is defective, damaged, or incorrect, contact us immediately at muthufashionstudio.inbox@gmail.com so we can evaluate the issue.
- Proof Required: You must provide clear photos or a continuous unboxing video of the defect within 48 hours of delivery.
- Resolution: For verified manufacturing defects or errors on our part, we will provide a free replacement or a full refund. We cover 100% of the return shipping costs in these cases.
💳 Return Shipping Costs & Deductions
- For Defective/Wrong Items: Return shipping is 100% Free.
- For Change of Mind / Size Issues: If you are returning an item due to a change of mind or selecting the wrong size, a flat return shipping and handling fee of ₹150 will be deducted from your final refund amount to cover the reverse logistics to our distributor warehouse.
- Note: Original shipping costs (if applicable) are non-refundable. Our courier partners will make up to three doorstep pickup attempts.
🔄 Exchanges
The fastest way to process an exchange is to request a return for your original item through our portal. Once your return is accepted and checked into our warehouse, you can make a separate purchase for the new size or item.
💰 Refunds & Timeline
Once our distributor’s warehouse receives and physically inspects your returned item to verify its original condition, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund via email.
- Original Payment Method: If approved, your refund will be automatically processed back to your original payment method within 7 business days. (Please note your bank or credit card issuer may take additional days to post the funds).
- Store Credit Option: Alternatively, you can opt for instant Store Credit via a digital gift card, which can be applied immediately to your next purchase.
- Late Refunds: If more than 15 business days have passed since your return was approved and you have not received your refund, please contact us directly at muthufashionstudio.inbox@gmail.com.
